One Gigawatt - [Action / Voice]
[Action - Locked to Bolin]
For what seemed like moments ago, Static watched as his mother vanished into darkness. A barrier constructed of space of time kept him from reaching her. And there'd been nothing he could do. Everything went dark and then there was nothing.
Until now. There was grass, the sounds of chirping birds and the sun getting in his eyes. Immediately Virgil sat up in a panic and looked around frantically.
"Mom!?"
But as far as he could tell, there was nothing. Worse than that, he realized he was in nothing but a pair of white pants that he had way more sense than to ever pick up for himself. And he was in a forest, which didn't bode well. Okay, so you're Virgil right now. In the middle of nowhere. Possibly in Medieval times if Timezone messed things up.
"Oh man. Not good."
Warily, he began to explore.

[Action - Afternoon]
So he was stuck in a place called Luceti. The first thing he did, once he got a chance to be by himself, was circle back to the clothing store and assemble his Static outfit. He found his metal disc at the item shop not long after. So once he felt confident with his much weaker powers, he took off towards the barrier. After about fifteen minutes of pumping it with electricity and getting nowhere, he decided it would be a bad idea to drain himself completely and be forced to walk all the way back to the town. So he returned to town, found a convenient power outlet to draw power from at the Tea Shop, and finally decided to do something about the journal. The question was... introduce himself as Static or as Virgil Hawkins?
Well, the answer was obvious.
[Voice]
So hey, Static here. If you haven’t heard of me, I’m a superhero from Dakota City. But really, has anyone heard of me? No, it’s not in North or South Dakota. I get that a lot. So I guess you could kinda say I’m new here. But I was kind of wondering about how to deal with the superhero thing. There's others here, right? The secret identity thing is pretty important, after all. But it's probably gonna be hard keeping it secret in a small town like this. Unless I just wear the mask all the time. I could probably do that if I have to.
Man, I just wish the Justice League was here. Batman would have already found a way out of this place by now.

Re: [Voice]
Awesome. Where are you? I can come find you, show you where it's at.
[Voice]
[Yes. Above. As in, flying.]
Re: [Voice -> Action]
[And true to her word, Artemis jogs into the plaza a few minutes later, dressed casually, one hand shading her eyes as she peers up into the sky searching for him.]
[Action]
Re: [Action]
Artemis moves unerringly to the fountain, stopping at the base and eying the disk he was floating on with a curious expression.]
How... are you even doing that?
[Action]
Electromagnetism. The simple way of putting it is that I'm using my own magnetic powers to repel it off the planet's own magnetic forces.
Re: [Action]
[Her hands are propped on her hips as she regards him curiously a moment before holding one out to him in introduction.]
So I'm Artemis, if you didn't guess. Do I just keep calling you Static?
Action]
I think I'll stick with that for now. Just to be safe.
Re: Action]
[Action]
[Okay, it was actually SUPER AWESOME. But he's got his pride.]
Re: [Action]
[She flashes him a grin and turns back the way she came, motioning him to follow her.]
So what was it like?
[Action]
"Well, the butler was a surprise. And it was definitely a cave."
Re: [Action]
She noted him looking around and started pointing out things as they passed, where certain shops were, what direction the Dome was in. It didn't take long. "The village itself isn't all that big. Not when you're used to the city," she confessed, leading down the path towards Community House 5. "That's our building."
[Action]
"Robin wasn't there. Batman said he was with the Titans." At that, Static gave Artemis a look, as if expecting her to spill the beans on team dynamics.
Re: [Action]
She knew that look and had every intention of filling him in, but not out here in the open. "Come on. We can talk on our floor. We live on the fourth. Each floor has five apartments - I think - and only three of ours are filled, so you can take your pick of the last two, if you like."
She let the way up the stairs and into their shared kitchen area before hopping up on the edge of the table and facing him, swinging her legs beneath you. "So. Have you spoke to any of the others and how many explanations am I going to have to give?"
[Action]
However, as they approached the stairs, Static was left with one incredibly important question.
"Oh, where's the elevator?"

Re: [Action]
She motioned to their surroundings, then started pointing out doors. "This is obviously the kitchen. We all share it. Zatanna and I cook occasionally when we get the urge and try to make enough for the boys too although it's not really a daily thing. There's stuff in the fridge and the cupboards though. Not to mention all the places in town to get a meal or food for free. Z and I have that apartment there. One of the Robins is there in that one next to us. The other has that door there. You get to figure out your own way to tell them apart, because honestly, having two Robins just makes my head hurt to think about sometimes. Any questions?"
