[Virgil. Searching her memory gives her nothing. Nothing but What if you woke up one day and found out it was all a lie which, while true and always kind of ruffling under the goings-on in Luceti, was not helpful. At all.]

Maybe I'm not. [Admitting it felt right, too.] This is really weird.

You're not making any sense. What's wrong?

[Sheena frowns, hands on her hips, and surveys the kitchen. Definitely not hers. Since when was 18's kitchen hers? Or the tea shop's, for that matter?]

I kinda...don't know what's going on here. Everything'll probably sort itself out, but this beginning stuff is really throwing me off.

Thanks, I got that far. [She didn't mean to be testy.] Sorry, I'm just trying to get my bearings here. This is still Luceti, right?

Sometimes, you never know. [She's about to say something else, when she catches sight of a framed picture on a countertop: herself and a man and this kid, here, at some younger age. All of her words condense into a half-choke instead. Yeah, it's an experiment, but she didn't expect to see fabricated bits of her past.]

Not... really. Have you been drinking?

[She wasn't normally a drinker, but... he didn't know what to make of this.]

No! I don't do that stuff. [Most of the time. Definitely not to the point that she forgets things.]

What's wrong, mom? You're freaking me out.

If you really wanna know, I'm kinda freaking myself out too. Something's going on here, and I'm gonna figure out what it is.

I don't know what. But I don't know you, either, or this house. [That was probably the wrong thing to say, and Sheena winces.] Sorry. I'm...your mom?
